Manual handling funding
Manual handling funding is here for 2019/20!
This funding has been made available and we want to make sure that areas of most need receive assistance.
The funding is available for equipment designed to reduce manual handling risks to staff and to improve safety for patients (not including beds or office furniture).
The Risk Management Unit is asking for Expressions of Interest to identify specific departmental needs and can provide assistance with the process where required.
Click here to find an Expressions of Interest (EOI) form or visit the What’s Happening section of the WHS intranet page.
Is there a piece of equipment that you feel would help to reduce injuries in your department?
Are your staff complaining of pain or injury due to a particular task and you need some guidance to make improvements?
Have you considered applying for funding in the past but have struggled with the time required to complete the submission?
Please submit your expression of interest/request for assistance by completing the EOI document and emailing it to Judy Jankovics at:
