November 2019

Places available - Grace Under Pressure performances

There is still time left to RSVP if you want to attend Grace Under Pressure!

On 20 & 25 November we are hosting Grace Under Pressure performances. There are morning, afternoon and evening sessions available.

Sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking but always compelling, Grace Under Pressure weaves together the experiences of health professionals.

Health workers are often referred to as “caring” professions, yet bullying, harassment and “teaching by humiliation” are a common experience in hospitals.

Acclaimed verbatim theatre makers David Williams and Paul Dwyer, in collaboration with the Sydney Arts and Health Collective, have developed Grace Under Pressure from interviews with interns, medical and nursing students, as well as senior allied health professionals and representatives from the specialist colleges and peak bodies.

Grace Under Pressure will start a conversation about these often taboo issues. In this verbatim theatre project, the audience is invited to peek behind the scenes of this fascinating industry.

I’d really like to encourage to all to take the time out of your busy schedules to attend and watch this performance. There are also opportunities afterwards to participate in workshops, if you wish, that will help to form our ongoing culture work in WSLHD.

There are still places available to book.

Please contact or phone 8838 2137 to book.

Look forward to seeing you there.
