Redbank Road works

Works will temporarily take a small section of Redbank Road back to one traffic lane from 5pm Thursday evening 23 April.

Traffic controllers will be in place to direct motorists and pedestrians for a 12-hour period until 5am Wednesday 24 April.

It follows similar works near the Brain Injury Unit on Tuesday night.

The low-activity period has been selected to minimalise impact.

Some low-level noise could be experienced during the works.

Impacts to Uni Clinics loop & Car Park 4 (northern entrance)

Two important works projects will temporarily impact pedestrian, parking and vehicle access around the University Clinics during April.

Project 1


Re-asphalting a section of Hawkesbury Road will close the Uni Clinics loop road, Car Park 4 (northern entrance) and current pedestrian footpath in front of the Central Acute Services Building on:

  • April 25 and Sunday April 26, from 7.00 am - 6.00 pm (both days)Saturday

  • Car Park 4 will still be accessible via Darcy Road and the ED access road.


Project 2


Pavement works in front of the CASB will close the Uni Clinics loop road and current pedestrian footpath in front of the CASB. CP4 (northern entrance) will remain open during this project which runs:
 

  •  April 13 to May 1, 6.00 pm - 5.00 am nightly.


Traffic controllers will be in place to redirect pedestrians along the back loop of Uni Clinics and to direct motorists during both projects.

Vehicle access along Hawkesbury Road will be maintained at all times.

These low-activity periods have been selected to minimalise impact on staff, patients and carers.
