Are you a RFS or bushfire response volunteer?

28/11/19

Some of our staff have recently volunteered to protect their communities, as part of the bushfire response from the Rural Fire Service and other organisations.

We would like to thank all volunteers who have assisted in the emergency response to the bushfires, and plan to hold a small event, as well as recognise volunteers in The Pulse.

If you have volunteered and assisted one of the following emergency service organisations during the current bushfire emergency, please let us know:

  • Rural Fire Service

  • State Emergency Services

  • Volunteer Rescue Association of NSW

  • Wireless Institute Civil Emergency Network

  • Cave Rescue Squad

  • Volunteer Coastal Patrol

  • Bushwalkers/ Wilderness Rescue Squad

Please send your name, email address and phone number, together with the name of the emergency service organisation, to Caren Friend, Manager Counter Disaster Unit, at caren.friend@health.nsw.gov.au.
