Steptember - 58 million steps & $14,080!

31/10/19

On behalf of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, congratulations to the 245 WSLHD steppers who took 58 million steps and raised $14,080 for kids with cerebral palsy!

Team G&D took the lead, raising $1,855. Thank you to Shabnam Singh, Tara Lee and Melissa Ross who were our highest individual fundraisers.

These funds will be used to support research, purchase equipment, fund rural therapy programs and develop technology solutions for high needs clients.

In the past, September donations have been used to provide grants for WSLHD research including a pilot randomised controlled trial of the optimal head position for newborns to provide neuroprotection. A grant was also provided to the Western Clinical School for a project to develop a volume monitoring device to improve resuscitation among newborns.

Find out more about the impact of your participation in this Thank you WSLHD video from the Cerbral Palsy Alliance.
