Easter is very different this year - A message from Lifeblood

So much has changed in the past few months, and this Easter is turning out to be very different to previous years. But you know what hasn’t changed? The need for blood.
Make this year different for a good reason by giving life.

Australia still needs 29,000 donations every week, including the Easter long weekend 10-13 April, and many regular donors can’t help right now.

So, what can you do?

Can’t donate right now? Help make this year different for a good reason by sharing Lifeblood’s posts on social media, and spreading the word to friends and family.
We truly appreciate whatever you can do to help.

Our donor centres are safe places.
Your safety is Lifeblood’s top priority. We don’t let anyone donate if they’re unwell and our donor centres are sanitised and safe. Learn more about the extra measures we’re taking to ensure the health and wellbeing of our donors here.

Thank you for your support. Together, we’re Australia’s Lifeblood.

Notice regarding the Mindfulness Sessions

Due to this ever-changing and challenging environment because of the outbreak of Covid-19, the face to face Mindfulness sessions are being cancelled.  Many apologies for the inconvenience to anyone who turned up at the last one.

However, given that Mindfulness has both physical and psychological benefits, the chances are that the sessions will resume via video conferencing to assist staff in managing the many changes and restrictions we are all facing. It will be endeavored to offer weekly sessions instead of fortnightly. So please watch this space for further details.
