Position Summary:

Provision of Speech Pathology services to Early Childhood Education and Care Centres (ECEACs) in Blacktown LGA via direct intervention with children and their families as well as consultation, collaboration and training of staff. This role will provide a professional level of service with a commitment to multidisciplinary and evidence based approaches to managing clients and promoting health. This role will identify and assess children attending specified preschools / child care centres in Blacktown LGA with speech, language, fluency, voice and feeding disorders

Essential criteria:
Qualification: Recognised Degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology and eligible for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia

Position Summary:
The Mental Health Clinical Performance and Practice Improvement Manager provides leadership and management of patient safety, clinical quality processes and corporate risk mitigation for the District Mental Health Services. This includes processes relating to accreditation, clinical governance and litigation.
The Clinical Performance and Practice Improvement Manager provides high level support and advice to the Mental Health Executive and other senior managers in relation to quality and risk management functions.

Position Summary:
The NUM is responsible for the coordination of patient services, unit management and nursing staff management within (ward/unit) consistent with the strategic directions of Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).
The NUM takes responsibility for the health care environment and standard of patient care, with accountability for culture, quality and safety, patient flow, financial management, change management and the experience of patients in that ward/unit.

Essential criteria:

Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated relevant clinical nursing experience with postgraduate nursing qualifications in specialty or management, or working towards same
2. Demonstrated ability to lead change and to balance competing demands.
3. Demonstrated ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing/midwifery staff
4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
5. Proven ability to assess nursing/ resource requirements and utilisation

DHS is looking for an IT Business Partner to be a strategic link between DHS and business areas within WSLHD.

The role provides highly valued consulting support and guidance through established WSLHD IT framework, and serves as the primary IT point of contact for functional area managers:

• Partnering with business leads and key stakeholders to define opportunities and manage the technical request consultation process required within DHS.
• Communicating decisions, priorities and relevant information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests, projects and initiatives.
• Operate as key business contact representing DHS in promoting its services and capabilities.
• Ability to work with the business to understand pain points and gather high level business requirement
• Engage with 3rd party vendors to understand technical system requirements including infrastructure and desktop
• Provide support in delivering technology solutions that meet explicit needs of the business.
• Focus on IT enablers that serve identified strategic initiatives and planning activities for their business area.
• Understand the hospital, community and primary health care ecosystems with proven ability in understanding of healthcare processes including workflows and information requirements.
• Enable the functional area to achieve business objectives through the effective use of technology and engagement with relevant DHS Teams.
