EOI – Clinical Product Nurse

This Expression of Interest is open to current casual, temporary and permanent staff of WSLHD.

Position Summary:
Manage strategies to optimise clinical products opportunities to achieve improvements in quality, safety and efficiency. Identify and realise potential areas for investment/disinvestments in relation to the quality use of clinical products. Ensure through consultation, development of working groups and evaluation processes with WSLHD clinicians that clinical requirements are represented in the product selection process with the state warehouse.

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA

Selection Criteria:
1. Current registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of NSW (RN List A)
2. Demonstrated sound knowledge of clinical products, equipment and their safe application within a clinical
3. Good verbal and written communications skills
4. Sound analytical skills including the ability to interpret information, prepare reports and formulate
strategies for projects development and ongoing management
5. Sound problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to resolve clinical product and equipment related
matters to achieve a clinically focused solution
6. Demonstrated organisation skills with the ability prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
7. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders to
support change management initiatives
8. Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
