Position Summary:
This position provide efficient and effective administration/clerical/secretarial duties at clinical and business levels, to the Head of Department and Staff Specialists within Paediatrics and Neonatology departments within Division 4 Women and Children\'s Health Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospital.

This position works under limited direction and guidance with regard to work priorities. Functions carried out may be complex in nature and require judgement in selecting and applying established principles, techniques and methods. This can include but not restricted to legislation, regulation, instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines.

This Expression of Interest is open to current casual, temporary and permanent staff of WSLHD.

Position Summary:
The Health Facility Planner provides high level advice and deliverables for a range of health services planning tasks and projects.

Selection Criteria:
• Demonstrated high level oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders including ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals and groups including senior management, clinicians, non-government organisations, community groups, and community members.
• Recognised Nursing qualifications and demonstrated relevant experience gained in a large complex project environment. Relevant previous Health experience is required.
• Demonstrated high-level analytical and project management skills, including ability to produce complex reports, business cases and submissions in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated high level ability to represent the LHD’s interests and perspectives.
• Understanding of NSW Ministry of Health policies particularly as relates to health service and capital development planning and evidence based models of care.
• Demonstrated experience in health service and/or capital planning.
