Administrative Officer Level 4
Temporary full time, 38 hours per week
Medical Workforce Unit, Auburn Hospital
The duration of this position is 13 weeks whilst the current incumbent is on a secondment. It is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience in medial workforce administration.
Eligibility: This Expression of Interest is open to current casual, temporary and permanent staff of Western Sydney Local Health District.
The Medical Staff Officer undertakes the following tasks:
Administration of rostering and payment for specialist and non specialist medical staff including checking of VMoney claims and data entry into Healthroster for Auburn staff specialists, non-specialist and junior doctors, and the Medical Workforce team.
Assisting the Director of Prevocational Training (DPET) with coordination of the Ward JMO Education Program for PGY1 and PGY2s including booking, organising and confirming presenters, booking venue and catering.
Assisting the Junior Medical Officer (JMO) Manager and deputising for this position whilst the incumbent is on leave
Provides administrative assistance to the Junior Medical Officer (JMO) Manager.
The officer occupying this position must be able to establish strong working relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation and others external to the organisation.
