Oracle WebCenter scheduled maintenance

What is impacted?
Oracle WebCenter and functionality related to storing and / or retrieving images via several services (Invoice Scanning (Kofax), StaffLink Payables, StaffLink iExpenses, Prevocational Medical Accreditation (PMAWeb) and Recruitment and On boarding (ROB)).

Note: Other functionality of StaffLink, Kofax, PMA or ROB will not be impacted.

Who is impacted?
Users storing or retrieving images from Oracle WebCenter via Kofax, StaffLink, PMA or ROB

What is the impact to end users?
Users will not be able to store / retrieve images stored in Oracle WebCenter during the outage window below.

  • StaffLink : Storing / Receiving receipts / invoices

  • Kofax: No direct impact but images will not be stored in WebCenter until after the maintenance

  • PMA : Storing / Receiving documents related to accreditation surveys

  • ROB: Uploading Files / Attachment functionality /Recommendation Reports


All other functionality of the above systems is not impacted.

Outage start: Sunday, 10 November 2019, 8.00am
Outage end: Sunday, 10 November
2019, 4.00pm

This outage is required for an upgrade to Oracle Web Center.

Cerner Provision Document Imaging (CPDI) – Auburn Hospital

What is the impacted service?
CPDI – Auburn

Purpose:
As a strategy, all facilities within WSLHD are moving towards a complete electronic medical record (eMR) system.

In addition to the eMR, document imaging (CPDI) is a solution that WSLHD has implemented in three out of its five inpatient facilities, Westmead, Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals, to provide the solution of scanning the paper component of the medical record directly into Cerner, to complement the existing eMR.

Auburn is the next facility to go live with document imaging.

What is the impact to end-users?
There is no impact to end-user as this is a new installation.

Affected sites?
All eMR user across Auburn Hospital

What new?
All the patient's paper medical record will be scanned into eMR and will be available to view in PowerChart and FirstNet.

eRIC upgrade - scheduled and planned maintenance

eRIC (electronic Record for Intensive Care) application

Who is impacted?
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Blacktown Hospital and users of the application

What is the impact to end users?
eRIC application will be unavailable to the end users. Records can be accessed via the Emergency Data Access computer and paper based systems.

Duration of outage:
Start: Tuesday, 12 November 2019, at 1.30pm
End: Tuesday, 12 November 2019, at 3.30pm

Further details of the outage:
eRIC (electronic Record for Intensive Care) application is being upgraded to V1R14+AA.
