What's new for SARA users?



New form: Personnel File Request

This form enables you to request employee information from a personnel file, e.g. for someone you manage or are assisting in an HR capacity.

Previously, this needed to be requested via email, phone or using the HR general enquiry form. Now, it can be requested via an online form inbuilt with automated workflow. You can request the exact information you need by choosing from a dropdown menu (e.g. job description, development plan etc), and you can track progress of your request in real time via ‘My Items’ on the SARA portal.

New form: Procurement Request 

This form is for the procurement of ICT related goods and services valued at $30,000 AUD and over.


New form: Superannuation Requests


All superannuation requests will be actioned electronically through SARA via the Superannuation Form (request or update Superannuation contributions or voluntary superannuation deductions).


An awareness video and a one page information sheet has been developed to support this change and can be found here which is available for everyone to view.


New form: Requesting Remote Access


Remote access can now be requested through SARA by selecting the ‘Remote Access Request’ form. This form consolidates what were previously several different paper forms and introduces a common workflow, where each request is routed to the appropriate fulfilment team, enhancing the user experience and reducing fulfilment times.

New form: Requesting Shared Drive Access


Shared drive access can now be requested through SARA by selecting the ‘Shared Drive Access’ form. This is another example of consolidating a series of different paper forms into one common online form which can be used across multiple LHDs and providing an improved experience for staff who are requesting and fulfilling requests.


New form: Patient Duplicate / Merge Notification (AUID/MRN)

The former Clinical Patient Information Updates (AUID/MRN) form has been replaced with two separate forms. The old form has been renamed the Patient Corrections / Information Updates form which will now only be used to request a correction to patient information within one patient record.


New form: Patient Duplicate / Merge Notification (AUID/MRN)

Available for notification of duplicate persons (same patient) within PAS. This will reduce confusion amongst users by having separate forms and streamline fulfillment by routing tasks directly to local support teams where appropriate. Further details are available in Knowledge article KB0018332.

What is the impact to end users?
• QlikSense Dashboards on the Aladdin Data Portal will not continue working during the outage period

• All Mental Health Dashboard (except MH KPI Dashboard)

• Go Share Dashboard
• LBVC Dashboard
• Elective Surgery Analysis Tool

Update Taleo (part of ROB) maintenance



What is impacted?
ROB Recruiting Centre (Taleo product)

Who is impacted?
All users of ROB – Recruiting Centre only (Taleo) in all LHD’s and Health Agencies.

How does it affect you?
During the maintenance performed by our vendor, ROB Recruiting Centre will not be available to end users.

Duration of disruption of service
Start: Thursday 27 August 11:00pm
Finish: Friday 28 August 3:00am

Details of outage
Taleo is a cloud-based system that is managed by the vendor, Oracle and is used as part of our Recruitment and Onboarding (ROB) system. Our vendor will perform an update to Taleo during the maintenance period.
