Update plug-in for StaffLink’s Java based forms

20/8/20

What is impacted?
StaffLink

Who is impacted?
All staff in all LHDs and Agencies who access StaffLink.

What is the impact to end users?
StaffLink access will be intermittently impacted during the maintenance period.

Duration of Maintenance:
Start: Thursday 20 August, at 7:00 pm
Finish: Thursday 20 August, at 11:00 pm

Further details of the outage:
The current plug-in used to access StaffLink’s Professional Forms (java-based), used by backend-users - is being phased out by our vendor at the end of August 2020. eHealth NSW is enabling an updated plug-in “Java Web Start” to ensure all NSW Health staff can continue to maintain access to these forms.

This change does not impact standard StaffLink self-service functionality like checking pay-slips etc.

If you experience any issues opening StaffLink’s Professional Forms after this change, please contact SWSD or your local IT support team. Additional information such as updated desktop requirements have been passed on to your local IT support team and can also be found here. Note: you will need to be connected to the Health Network (e.g. via VPN) to access this page.
