The team at the new Sydney Colisuem Theatre is offering a special discounted deal to the staff, friends and family of Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).

Australia’s leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing arts company, Bangarra Dance Theatre, will present its multi award-winning production of Bennelong at Sydney’s newest venue Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ on 13 & 14 March, 2020.

Originally choreographed and staged in 2017, Bennelong is one of Bangarra’s most lauded productions, having been awarded a total of seven Helpmann Awards including the prestigious title ‘Best New Australian Work’

Bennelong will be a milestone moment in the inaugural year of programming for the 2000 seat Sydney Coliseum Theatre located in Greater Western Sydney.

Mindfulness for staff 

27/2/20

The Mindfulness-based Wellness and Compassionate (MWAC) program is a NSW Health initiative to support staff wellness and compassionate care. Research suggests that staff wellbeing can improve quality of patient care which increases positive clinical outcomes. Mindfulness meditation has been found to be beneficial in reducing stress and promoting psychological wellbeing.

Mindfulness is being offered on a fortnightly basis to all staff.

Venue: Westmead Education and Conference Centre (WECC), Westmead Hospital

Time: 2.30-3.30pm
