WSLHD staff are invited to participate in University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health speed collaboration event on Tuesday 13 October, 3-4pm.

A ‘speed-dating’ approach to developing collaborations in health professions’ education practice: a fast and fun way to meet other health professions educators.

To register please email your EOI with your bio (50-word elevator pitch), three education keywords and why you want to be involved in the event to jade.lor-chan@Sydney.edu.au by 8 October. This event is limited to 10 places.

‘Keeping the World Open for Us’ - Free dementia online forum

The theme for Dementia Action Week this year is ‘Keep the World Open for Us’.
Western Sydney Dementia and Vulnerable Elderly (DaVE) group invites all members to explore how we can increase engagement with people with dementia and their carers. 
Join the discussion to raise awareness of the disease.
