With the exciting announcement by the World Health Organisation (WHO) that 2020 will be the Year of the Nurse and Midwife, coordination for a Greater Western Sydney Nursing and Midwifery Showcase is underway and we are very excited to invite you to attend this event.

The Showcase is a joint initiative of South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD), Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) and Western Sydney University (WSU) and will include a combination of aspiring and inspirational nursing and midwifery presenters from across the region.

The theme is “2020: Celebrating Innovation, Passion and Leadership in Nursing and Midwifery”. This showcase is being held to celebrate the extraordinary work of nurses and midwives in the greater western Sydney region and the true collaboration of the partners involved.

If you would like to be involved in the program and have the opportunity to present, please submit an abstract. Further information can be found here.
